Andy joined the 1st Tilehurst Company at the age of 12, he was presented with his Queens Badge July 1986, he then became a Warrant Officer the following September. He left Tilehurst in August 1987, then in September 1987 formed the 3rd Reading Boys' Brigade Company with 2 members of staff and 30 boys, became company captain in September 1989.
Neil joined the 1st Tilehurst Company when he was 5 years old, but later became one of the founder member of The 3rd Reading Company, and was a regular until leaving for University. Years later he rejoined 3rd Reading as an Officer and now runs the Juniors Programme on Friday nights. He enjoys all sport but particularly likes football and supports Everton FC.
Jo joined BB as an officer in 2001. She now runs the Juniors Programme with her husband Neil on Friday nights and is the secretary for Berkshire Group Camp which organises annual Company Section canvas camps. She enjoys spending time with her family and makes cards.
Byron is the 1st member of 3rd Reading Company to gain his Queens Badge (The highest attainable award)
Alison joined the company in September 2008, she has four children all of whom either attend the 3rd Reading BB or 3rd Reading GB. She has recently been promoted to Lieutenant.
